VICTORIA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT AWARDED $3.1 MILLION GRANT UNDER THE MAGNET SCHOOLS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

VISD is thrilled to announce that it has been selected to receive a significant grant under the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP). This grant, totaling $3,108,810.00 for the first budget period from October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024, marks a significant milestone in our commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and educational excellence within our district.

SUB-COMMITTEE ON TEACHER AND STAFF COMPENSATION AND OPERATIONAL NEEDS INVITES COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS TO PUBLIC HEARINGS

The Sub-Committee established to review Teacher and Staff Compensation and Operational Needs is pleased to announce an invitation for community members to share their thoughts and provide input during five scheduled public hearings in the coming weeks.

To provide transparency and foster community engagement, the sub-committee is excited to announce a series of public hearings that will be held in each trustee district within the Victoria ISD.

The Victoria Independent School District (VISD) is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Finding Your “AND” CHOICE Expo.

The Finding Your “AND” CHOICE Expo, now in its third year, has grown to become a cornerstone event in the VISD calendar. It provides an invaluable opportunity for students and their families to learn about the various educational choices and opportunities that will shape their academic journey and future careers. Whether students aspire to pursue higher education, enter the workforce, or serve their country, the Expo offers a comprehensive overview of the pathways available within the district.
